Hello my supporters - Week #8

Hello my supporters,

If you don't have enough time to read this email at least peek this scripture:

D&C 24:8 "Be patient in afflictions, for thou shalt have many; but endure them, for, lo, I am with thee, even unto the end of thy days."

This week was better than the last for sure! I got to eat more delicious food and I ate some Chick fil A sauce that my mom sent me hahaha. I'm finally understanding a bit too.

To start we had a funky experience teaching this old lady that was a referral after church yesterday. We went over and they we're super nice then her son Pablo came over and was listening and once we finishing talking about the Restoration he just started going in on how that's all fraud and we are some false garbage. After 20 minutes of that he just singled me out and was like how could you think Joseph Smith is a prophet! There's no need for more prophets! He made up that Book! Hahaha that’s about all I got out of the 4-5 minutes he yelled at me. Then my comp said calm down man he's only been here for 1 week. He can't understand you. Man the look on that guy's face. He was just instantly apologizing then they gave us the best chocolate cake I think I've ever had. Blessings from NOT being able to understand Portuguese haha! Who knew. Just a great memory.

On a good note I understood a good bit of Sacrament meeting this week and 2nd hour of Church. Words are starting to click. Also we took this kid some extra church clothes that we had. He got baptized about 3 weeks ago and he wasn’t home so we taught his family and sang "God be with you till we meet again" to them in English. The Spirit was so strong and after we finished singing the Mom said "I can see God is in and with you guys can you please return to our house this week, please." So we are going back Friday. I'll keep you guys updated.

Well all in all this week was much better. I'm truly seeing the Lord’s hand is in every single part of my life.

Love you all! Thank you for all your love.
