Transferred! Ouro Fino - Week #17

Hello!

I got emergency transferred to a new area because the mish had some problems. Ended “training" 2 weeks early.😁 I'm pretty far out in a city called Paranaguá. My new area is called Ouro Fino. We got new bikes this week woohoo!

My new comp is Elder Lima, he’s a Brazilian and he's great. He loves working and talking to every single person in the street so I'm getting some super good Portuguese practice in. This area is pretty poor and it's super hard to get people to church, but we'll see what we can do out here I'm excited. We taught two boys we found Vitor and Mateus and they are 13. Yesterday we taught them and Vitor's entire family. It started out with Vitor's whole family drinking and blasting music, but when we started talking about Joseph Smith the music turned off without us asking, and the Spirit was flowing. Then when we started bearing testimony the entire family came over reverently and listened to our message. Finally when I was giving the closing prayer the kids and everything was so quiet and peaceful. The presence of the Spirit was so calming and powerful. It was crazy. We are gonna teach them again Thursday.

Also it was Elder Lima's 21st bday today HBD!😁😂

It's kinda rough moving to a new area and adjusting, but I'm super excited to be out here.
