Week #13 🇺🇸 — Called to Serve in Curitiba Sul: Elder Ryker Roskelley

This week was sweet and we got a new Mission President too!

Started off we had Dirlei's baptism and it was so cool his son was able to baptize him!

This week I went on Splits with Elder Cardon and he's such a homie. It was really nice to speak in English all day and not have to struggle to say anything. Hahah We actually taught this little girl from the Philippines in English which was so chill I could just teach. I also taught her a couple of the commandments a few days ago. We have her on date to be baptized Sunday I'm so stoked because I might be able to baptize her in English! We shall see.

Also we have Adixom on date for the 9th so I might get a birthdaytizm haha that would be the sickest birthday! Making covenants and eating birthday cake all in one day🤞🤞🤞

I hope you all had a lit 4th of July mine was actually way fun even tho I didn't see fireworks our entire mission got together because we got a new President. Man it was so fun and amazing because our President only speaks English and Spanish so the whole day was in English and man I learned so much! I'm stoked for the time I'm gonna spend with President and Sister Snyder they already seem super fun! It was cool as they were sharing things with us that the Apostles taught them about 1 week ago in the Provo MTC the Spirit that filled the chapel was insane!

Also on the way to the chapel today I found this random birthday cake in the bushes and Elder Cabral was tripping, he's like no way this is no coincidence of course there's a birthday cake here what?! There's a pic down below of it.

I was just reading in Mosiah 2 and here's a verse I liked: Mosiah 2:20

"I say unto you, my brethren, that if you should render all the thanks and praise which your whole soul has power to possess, to that God who has created you, and has kept and preserved you, and has caused that ye should rejoice, and has granted that ye should live in peace with one another."
