Week #14 🫂🌊🌊🎉🎂

Hi,

This week was a W honestly! We baptized 2 little homies Adixom and Hanslyn and man it was incredible!!!

To start it made me sooooo sad because Adixom's family is super Catholic and they don't have any interest but his older brother is baptized and is kinda his only support. So literally none of his family came to his baptism and it broke my heart. But still this little 10 year old was full of pure joy to be baptized. And we baptized him on my birthday which was the coolest "present" I've ever gotten!

Next I gotta baptize Hanslyn and man she is super shy but incredible. She speaks perfect English so she only would talk to me and I taught her all the lessons in English. It was so nice I could just speak effortlessly! But she killed it and didn't even seem nervous yesterday.

We have José Júlio this coming week to be baptized and man he is so prepared! At church he told me he re-read like 3 of the pamphlets and read the chapters we asked him to read. Gosh I love this guy! He also does Tae Kwon Do so this week he was teaching me a few ways to take people down it was hilarious.

This guy named Clóvis that hasn't responded to us in about a month finally responded when I texted him about coming to Sacrament meeting! He and his wife came and after they left she texted us and said I feel I need to be baptized can you guys help me do that. I was like what the heck am I reading this right😂?! So we are going to teach them this week and we'll see how things go!

As you guys know it was my birthday this week and I honestly thought it might suck cause I'm in a different country, but it was actually pretty dang enjoyable. The First Counselor in the Stake Presidency and his wife (Martin’s) gave me a birthday present and she made me doughnuts and the cinnamon roll type things gosh they were so tasty. Man I don't know how I got so blessed with these incredible members but they are so thoughtful and made it great day! Also Elder Cabral bought me a McFlurry so fire!

Ya this week was super good hope you all are doing good. Thank you for all the b-day wishes it meant a lot!!!!!!!
